Sweden’s Regional Airports (SRF) new website

Sweden’s Regional Airports (SRF) is owned by the Swedish Regional Airport Association (SRFF) which is a coordinating body for the Swedish non-government owned airports. SRF strives to develop the air traffic and thus the availability of all Swedish regions. SRF works by influencing the government and relevant government departments to provide the non-governmental airports’ conditions in order to preserve and develop their business. SRF currently has 36 member airports and are represented all over the country from Pajala in the north to Kristianstad in the south.

Investigation for better competition

Today the Government decided to appoint Severin Blomstrand to investigate aspects of the legislation governing Konkurrensverket’s (the Competition Authority’s) activities in the field of competition. The review aims to streamline the competition supervision. In view of lessons learned from the application of competition law, IT development and harmonization within the EU there is a need for a regulatory review.
